About Me
I’m currently working towards a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Strategic Communications at Boise State University. I am expecting to graduate in the Winter of 2025. Through my academic experience, I have acquired a strong foundation in strategic messaging, media relations, campaign planning, and audience engagement.
I bring a proactive mindset and a genuine passion for clear, impactful communication. Through coursework, group projects, and practical experiences, I’ve developed skills in storytelling, brand strategy, and collaborative problem-solving.
I’m committed to continuous growth, both personally and professionally. I'm always seeking opportunities to expand my skill set and contribute meaningfully in dynamic, team-oriented environments. After graduation, I look forward to applying my knowledge and enthusiasm to a career where I can help organizations build authentic connections with their audiences through Public Relations.
I come from a close-knit, supportive family that has shaped so much of who I am. My dad, Ty Gomez, is a lawyer whose work ethic and calm leadership have always inspired me. My mom, Dr. Myra Wyckoff, is a neonatal physician whose compassion and strength I deeply admire. Growing up in a family that values hard work, integrity, and empathy has taught me the importance of staying grounded, leading with purpose, and always showing up for the people around me. Family has given me a strong foundation, and their support continues to motivate me as I pursue creative and professional goals.
Playing soccer was a huge part of my life for many years and taught me some of the most valuable lessons I still carry with me today. I played at the ECNL level from seventh grade through my junior year of high school, which required a high level of commitment, teamwork, and mental toughness. After stepping away from club soccer during the pandemic, I continued to play for Ursuline Academy of Dallas, and ended my soccer carer with a state championship. The discipline, focus, and leadership I developed through soccer continue to influence how I show up in professional settings and handle challenges with confidence and resilience.
